Welcome to Holy Week at Hancock Church! Join us for our Lenten Journey 2023: Everyday Sacred with spiritual practices that help us see the holy in everyday, ordinary life. God is already here, and Christ is in all things!
Palm Sunday | April 2, 10:00am
Holy Week starts with Palm Sunday, when we process with palms for waving, on April 2 at 10:00am in the sanctuary. This service will be livecast on LexMedia (RCN 3/HD613, Comcast 8, Verizon 35), and www.youtube.com/hancockchurch.
Guided Walk of the Stations of the Cross | April 6, 5:00pm
Then April 3 – 8, walk the Stations of the Cross with artwork by Mary Button titled “Stations of the Cross: Refugee Journeys” in the sanctuary. Join us for a special guided walk with our Immigration and Refugee Justice Team on April 6 at 5:00pm. Stay for our Maundy Thursday service.
Maundy Thursday | April 6, 6:30pm
Maundy Thursday we have a special service with a shared meal and music by the River Rock Band on April 6 at 6:30pm in the Dining Room.
Good Friday | April 7, 7:00pm
Good Friday Service is a contemplative service with music by our Bell Choir on April 7 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. This service will be livecast on LexMedia (RCN 3/HD613, Comcast 8, Verizon 35), and www.youtube.com/hancockchurch.
EASTER | April 9
On Easter Day, April 9, join us for an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:00am outside at the Old Belfry. Traditional Easter Services are held in the sanctuary at 9:00am and 11:00am. Between services at 10:00am is a special coffee hour and an Easter egg hunt for the kids!
