My Spiritual Compass…

Hancock is where I truly feel welcomed and accepted for who I am: a learner, a believer and a seeker.  My community of faith is a blessing, a joy, and an anchor in my life.    When my spiritual compass is upside down and backward, I know, through service, conversation, and prayer, I will be guided to what is right, what is possible, and what is just.  I am lucky to worship  with many whom I consider to be inspiring role models, many who are teaching me what it means to do good works.

I want to make sure Hancock grows for good so others can travel their personal faith journey and be strengthened, as I am, by the many blessings of the Hancock Church community.  Future Hancock members deserve a church that continues to be a powerful and positive presence for many years to come.

To quote T.S. Eliot: “With the drawing of this Love and the voice of this Calling, we shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.”
