I feel blessed by our years at Hancock.  Beginning with our introduction to the church as Nursery School parents to our current ‘empty nest’ state, I have worshiped, studied, and worked with an ever-increasing circle of faithful people.  Our children thrived and matured in the work and play of the Hancock Youth Group.  My faith gained substance and breadth through Lenten study groups, classes, and discussion groups led by our clergy and seminarians.  The opportunity to work and pray with communities in Honduras opened my eyes to new worlds and helped to put my own in perspective.  Above all, I treasure the community of people at Hancock, whom I have come to know through committees, retreats, projects, or simply sharing pews.  We have shared each other’s joys and offered each other comfort, support, and humor when needed.  I cannot imagine my life without Hancock.  I want to see our congregation thrive and grow for good in the years ahead.
