Hancock Bell Ringers

The Bell Ringers at Hancock Church, 1912 Mass Ave in Lexington, are playing two free Holiday Concerts!

On Friday, December 19 at 10am, The Morning Glory Ringers will play such well-loved songs as “Silver Bells” and “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire,” as well as traditional Christmas carols complete with sing-alongs. They will play four octaves of handbells and hand chimes. The Morning Glory Ringers are excited to offer this concert again. They had to skip it last year due to construction. In the past, the concert has been well-attended by over 75 residents from more than 6 assisted living facilities and the community.

The Fourteenth Annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 21 at 2pm, features all four handbell choirs at Hancock Church. Ringers from our youngest elementary school choir to our adult advanced Carillon choir will perform on five octaves of handbells and six octaves of hand chimes. The program will include a mix of sacred, contemporary, and traditional repertoire.

Both concerts are free and offer a magical experience to jump start your holiday season! Hancock Church is handicapped accessible with seating for 300 people. Please contact (781) 862-4220 for help with large groups.
