New beehives at the interfaith garden!

Each Interfaith Garden growing season, Lexington’s Catholic Community of Sacred Heart and St. Brigid Parishes jointly work together with other faith communities to raise fresh produce for Lexington Food Pantry. During June 12-19, the Catholic Community will observe the first anniversary of Pope Francis’s letter on care for the environment and the poor and on building community resources to address these issues. To celebrate this anniversary, both parishes are inviting Lexington faith communities to join a special Interfaith Garden tour on Sunday, June 19, 1 pmPlan to stop by the garden, bring family and friends, learn more about the garden’s history, organic gardening, current crops—and meet the chickens!
