Christmas Eve Services 2014

Please join us in the Sanctuary for Christmas Eve Services with traditional candlelighting, music, and storytelling. 5pm Family Service Lessons and carols with a family Christmas tableau. Carols accompanied by brass and organ. Childcare available in the infant and toddler room. 8pm Lessons and Carols Accompanied by the Chancel Choir, professional soloists, and strings. 11pm Candlelight Communion A contemporary take on carols old and new by Ensemble Noel.

The 30+ pounds harvested last Saturday brings the season’s total to 1,991 pounds so far this year, well above our prior best of 1,637. The good weather, crop rotation and care under the tutelage of Carla has made for a remarkable year. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this project so successful. The Wine Raffle to benefit Sustainable Harvest International will run between Oct 5-Nov 8th. Four winners will receive 6 bottles each!  Purchase one ticket for $10 or three for $25! Hancock in Ft. Wayne!

Amy and Lisle Swanson, and Scott Martin are back from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they built homes with Blitz Home Builders and Habitat for Humanity. Despite rain delays and wet mud, it looks like they were able to get the roofs on all of the houses!
