Lexington Interfaith Choral Festival Returns to Hancock! February 10th, 3pm

On Sunday, February 10th at 3:00 .m. Hancock will again host the annual Lexington Choral Festival. This interfaith concert will feature choirs from 12 area institutions. Each choir will offer a performance, then the nearly 300 voices will join to sing a glorious rendition of Bach’s Dona Nobis Pacem. Hancock will celebrate the season through music with two widely varied services on Sunday, December 9th. At 10:00 a.m., the Chancel Choir and Cantata Orchestra will perform J.S. Bach’s Cantata #61, Nun komm der Heiden Heiland as part of morning worship. They will also perform choruses from Cantata #140 Wachet auf, and music by Praetorious.
