10th Annual Lexington Interfaith Choral Festival!

  UPDATE 3/31/2015: Due to snow, the Choral Festival was rescheduled for April 12, 3pm. LEXINGTON, MA—10 choirs from Lexington will be raising their voices together in the 10th Annual Lexington Choral Festival on Sunday, February 8th at 3:00 p.m. hosted by Hancock Church. This year’s Festival features choirs from 10 area churches and temples with over 200 singers participating. Admission is free and open to the public. The 30+ pounds harvested last Saturday brings the season’s total to 1,991 pounds so far this year, well above our prior best of 1,637. The good weather, crop rotation and care under the tutelage of Carla has made for a remarkable year. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this project so successful. Lexington Interfaith Garden grows food for families in need | Lexington Minuteman October 30th, 2012

With the harvest nearly over, Lexington can celebrate a successful third season for its Interfaith Garden. More than 1,550 pounds of fresh produce was grown this year for the Lexington Food Pantryon a small plot of land near the Lexington Green, including 217 pounds of cucumbers, 177 pounds of tomatoes and 117 pounds of zucchini.
