Normally I report on the Interfaith Garden, but this week I was one of 4 Hancock volunteers at the Lexington Food Pantry. So instead of dropping off freshly harvested vegetables and herbs from the Interfaith Garden, I helped distribute rice, prepackaged meals and soup directly to the families in need. 10th Annual Lexington Interfaith Choral Festival!

  UPDATE 3/31/2015: Due to snow, the Choral Festival was rescheduled for April 12, 3pm. LEXINGTON, MA—10 choirs from Lexington will be raising their voices together in the 10th Annual Lexington Choral Festival on Sunday, February 8th at 3:00 p.m. hosted by Hancock Church. This year’s Festival features choirs from 10 area churches and temples with over 200 singers participating. Admission is free and open to the public. Last Saturday, 7 hardworking members from Redeemer, First Baptist, Lexington Methodist, Pilgrim, and Hancock harvested 218.5 lbs of produce! That’s four carts!  Come join us! No experience needed.
