Stewardship at Hancock Church
Stewardship at Hancock Church defines our mission to care for what God has entrusted to us. That mission shows in our actions of caring for those close to us and those far away. Stewardship is action that shows we
Care for our community
Care for the world
Care for each other
Care for one's self.
We extend our hand to help those in our local community.
We provide support for each other though hard times.
We seek opportunities to continue the unending fight for justice around the world
We rejoice in each others talent in music and art.
We challenge each other to live lives of Christian service.
We study and pray together to strengthen our faith and broaden our vision.
We work continuously to weave our faith into the fabric of our daily lives.
Hancock has a long and rich history of members who have dedicated significant talents and resources to creating this mission. Each has contributed in their own personal fashion, whether giving of their time, sharing their expertise, and/or contributing financially. We, today's stewards, aspire to continue this great tradition. Combined, all of our talents can help create a better world and make for a joyful chorus singing God's praises.
