Jeannette Corbett, a Reading resident, grew up in Stoneham and gradguated from Stoneham High School. she has a MA in Special Education, and taught for 25 years in numerous local communities.

Since retirement, she has enjoyed taking art courses and workshops in the North Shore area. Her instructors include Carolyn Latanision, Paul George, Marilyn Swift, Betty Lou Schlemm, and Tom Sutherland.

Mrs. Corbett is an active member of the Reading Art Association, Woburn Guild of Artists, and the Lexington Art and Crafts Society. She is also a member of the Lynnfield Art Guild, North Shore Art Association, and the Rockport Art Association. Since exhibiting the past few years, she has won 26 awards, most recently "The Best of Show" from the Lexington Painter's Exhibit for her watercolor, and the Woburn Guild of Artists.

Jeannette works with watercolor, and enjoys painting on location along the New England coast. She enjoys traveling, especially to Italy and France, and last spring traveled to Capri, Venice, and Positano.

Mrs. Corbett displays her watercolors at local libraries, bank, hospitals, and shops, and at many of the North Shore exhibits throughout the year.
