The Standing Committee has approved a pilot program designed to strengthen our community at Hancock Church and to increase our vitality and growth by providing opportunities for people of all ages to connect with one another.
Beginning this fall, Hancock will be hosting a series of community building activities each week at 11 a.m. following worship. Those activities will include coffee hour, linger lunches, One People – One World events, men’s fellowship, women’s fellowship, choir and handbell rehearsals, children’s gatherings, and Christianity 101 – An Intro to Faith.
We are excited about the opportunities this gives Christian Service to bring in speakers and spread the good news about the many outstanding organizations our Christian Service funds are supporting.
Please come to the next Christian Service Committee meeting with your ideas for new learning, fellowship and community activities you’d like us and our partners to consider.
