This week in morning worship:
Dana Allen Walsh Preaches
1 Corinthians 1:10 – 18

At first glance, our Scripture reading sounds like a babysitter trying to enforce a ceasefire among siblings. “Could you please just try to get along?” The apostle Paul writes after having received reports that the Corinthians have divided themselves up based on their favorite leader: “I belong to Apollos,” or “I belong to Cephas.”  In response, he urges them to be of “the same mind and the same purpose). What fractions, partitions, and divisions do we experience in the Christian church today? What ways do we create barriers and separation between one another? How is God calling you to embrace your identity as one who “belongs to Christ”?
