Since 2010, Interfaith Garden volunteers have grown and delivered fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit to Lexington’s Food Pantry. Each growing season, volunteers of all ages from12 faith communities and also local service groups work and learn together while planting, tending and harvesting organically grown produce.

Hancock Church provides volunteers once or twice a month, late March through October. Many families enjoy gardening together—and wheeling over carts of harvested produce to Lexington Food Pantry on Saturday mornings.

Hancock teams will be working at the garden, located near Lexington Green, on: Saturday, May 21 (8:30 to 10 am) and Tuesday, June 14 (4:30 to 6 pm). If you’d like to give it a try, if you’d like more information, contact Hancock Church (781) 862-4220.
