Thank you, Hancock community, for continuing support of the Lexington Food Pantry.  Our members continue to volunteer at the pantry, deliver food collections from Hancock every week, and fill the baskets in the Narthex and outside of Clark Hall. In addition, Hancock volunteers at the Interfaith Garden are hard at work ensuring that clients receive fresh seasonal produce weekly.

The work done by the pantry’s director and many volunteers serves  elderly residents, single adults and families with young children who rely on assistance due to disability, the loss of a job or medical expenses.

As you do your grocery shopping over the next month, please consider including items you can leave in the collection baskets at Hancock.

The Food Pantry currently needs:
Canned fruit: pears, peaches, apricots, fruit cocktail.
Cereal,including cereals that children enjoy
Pasta: egg noodles, angel hair pasta
