Last Sunday, Hancock Church children, youth and adults stopped by Interfaith Garden to see what’s growing. All learned more about growing vegetables, herbs and fruit-from seed or seedling and tending to harvest.

Interfaith Garden volunteering makes an ideal family outing. Kids enjoy gardening alongside people of all ages-and wheeling produce-filled carts to Lexington’s Food Pantry on Saturday mornings during harvest season!

Hancock Church teams work twice a month in the garden, from late March through October. Parking is available at First Parish Church. No green thumbs required! Volunteer coordinator and experienced gardener Carla Fortmann guides each gardening session.
