interfaith garden gathering kale

The last harvest on Nov 1, brought our season total to a high of 2,015 pounds. Over a ton of fresh, nutritious produce was grown and donated to the Lexington Food Pantry this past season.  Hancock is a key supporter of the Interfaith Garden. Carolyn Wortman, head of the Pantry, wrote,

“On behalf of clients and volunteers alike at the Food Pantry, I would like to thank Carla (head farmer) and all the seeders, weeders and harvesters for a spectacular season of growing. Your efforts are much appreciated. We are looking forward to the 2015 season.”
