Holiday Fair 2015

Raffle to Benefit City Mission Society

Chris Groves holding bowl
This year’s Hancock Holiday Fair features a raffle for a uniquely crafted wooden bowl (see photo below) designed and built by HUCC member Chris Groves. Chris has generously donated this item to be raffled off at the Holiday Fair on December 6, to benefit City Mission Society.

This exquisite item will be on display during Hancock’s Holiday Fair, at the Lexington Food Pantry table, where raffle tickets will be sold until the conclusion of the fair that day. The winning ticket will be announced after the Holiday Fair, and the winner contacted that afternoon-you do not need to be present to win.

But, you don’t need to wait until December 6 to purchase your raffle tickets! On Sundays in November during coffee hour, raffle tickets will be available for sale at the Christian Service Committee’s Holiday Fair table. All are welcome to stop by to see this beautiful piece of art, and to purchase raffle tickets: $5.00 for one chance, or $20.00 for five chances.

Please support the City Mission Society, our partner organization for the past 140+ years, and take a chance on winning. And thank you to Chris Groves for providing an item that will not only be cherished by the winning raffle ticket holder, but for helping the Hancock community support a very worthy cause.
