If you are looking for a simple way to support Hancock’s mission in the community, opportunities are available to volunteer at the Lexington Interfaith Food Pantry located at Church of Redeemer on Meriam Street. It only takes 3 hours on the second Saturday of each month, and you’ll be finished before noontime.

But wait, there’s more: get to know other Hancock members and other community volunteers, as you work together to provide a critically needed service. There is no preparation – just give three hours of your time, bring a smile, and enjoy the feeling of doing good work.

Volunteers must be of high school age or older. LHS students earn Community Service hours for time at the Food Pantry.

Come once, or plan to come more often, to help Lexington neighbors fill their shopping bags with nutritious food. Upcoming date are November 14 and December 12.

For more information, or/and to be added to the volunteer list for monthly emails, or/and to sign up for a specific “second Saturday” volunteer slot, please contact the church office.
