More about our Adult Christian Education Committee
The Adult Christian Education committee works to support life-long learning, spiritual development and a sense of community, in keeping with the Hancock Strategic Plan. Our programs are meant to make people feel welcome and comfortable, no matter where they might be on their journey of faith. Our goals for Adult Christian Education programs are:
- To broaden recognition of the power of learning for bringing people closer to each other and to God.
- To encourage regular participation in learning as a cultural norm at Hancock.
- To coordinate learning experiences at Hancock with other aspects of worship, outreach and community building.
Throughout the year we have supported a wide and innovative range of programming to welcome and support participation from all segments of Hancock’s adult congregation. We are very grateful to our ministers and seminarians for their enthusiastic and involvement, along with their ideas, thoughtful program development, and excellent teaching. We especially thank Dana for her inspired leadership.
If you would like to learn more about these programs and how to participate, please contact the Church Office (781) 862-4220.
