Text: With the arrival of the growing season came an abundance of produce available to the Lexington Food Pantry. Now on a Saturday morning, the Food Pantry clients can experience that which they otherwise probably could not. Each week 3-5 tables are laden with a wide variety of fresh produce made possible by contributors both old and new. Handicapped Bathroom, New Coffee Machines, Elevator Installation

Over the past month we have seen several elements of the construction project completed: the first and second floor bathrooms, the second floor handicapped bathroom (next to the Pearson Room), and the Pearson Room kitchenette.   The new coffee machines and the new refrigerator and freezer are up and running in the kitchen. Elevator Installation Has Begun!

We are all delighted to see ThyssenKrupp (elevator installer) as they have begun installation this week. It should be about 6 weeks for the install.  After elevator inspections and completion of the stairs, the contractor will finish the front lobby and the front offices.  We hope to have most of our construction finished by the end of the year.  The kitchen is close to completion, and after a few more items are finished we can get the kitchen inspected by the building inspector, the fire department and...
