Annual Meeting, January 29, 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary.

The Planning Phase of the Capital Campaign has looked at our needs as a church, and asked how those needs can be met while keeping in mind our church mission:

  • We are called to be Welcoming
  • We are called to be good Stewards
  • We are called to share the Good News

Through many discussions and congregational feedback, your Capital Campaign Planning Committee proposes a Phase One Plan to improve welcoming and accessibility to all. The changes include renovating the front lower entrance (including an elevator); renovating the Chapel and Narthex areas to be more welcoming; improving our Children’s Christian Education wing; addressing capital and life safety improvements; addressing programmatic needs to widen our welcome; and providing for a building fund. Although the details are not fixed and our conversations will continue, the overall course has been identified and we will vote on whether to pursue this course at Annual Meeting on January 29.
